Job Description:

 

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic primary responsibilities, with safety in mind, are to maintain, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Possessing welding and machining skills is a plus.  Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in analytically determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of manufacturing for a unionized plant.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides maintenance information by using CMMS.An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.Use strong PLC trouble shooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.Read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.Maintain production equipment to a reliable level of production through preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Requirements:

2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment.High school diploma or equivalentAbility to work independently in a mature and professional mannerAbility to work various shifts / overtime / days per week

 

Military training and or Technical School preferred
