Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

This position provides equipment repair support and assistance to the manufacturing department and general plant facility. This position is on 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30.

As the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will provide critical repair and maintenance support for manufacturing equipment and the general plant facility on the 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll contribute to the smooth operation of our production line and ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

You Will:

Repair and maintain light industrial manufacturing equipment.

Conduct preventative maintenance on production machinery and the facility.

Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment.

Complete scheduled tasks for the preventive and predictive maintenance program.

Assist the tooling department with tooling repair and maintenance.

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, including basic PLC equipment.

Handle basic electrical system installations.

Operate plant mobile equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts.

You Have:

High School Diploma or GED.

Associate’s degree in EET, MET, Technical School, or equivalent experience.

Technical Degree with 1+ years' experience, or 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing in lieu of a degree.

Strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
