Electro-Mechanical Technician III - 3rd shift 15% differential pay and $1000 sign on bonus

This is a senior-level position to assist the lead and supervisor with total team development to help maintain equipment to meet production goals. This is a 3rd shift position and reporting hours will be 10:00 pm -6:00 am. (Sunday night - Friday morning)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, installations, and set-up of production machinery. Make certain all machines and systems utilized in manufacturing are operating at peak performance at all times. Responsible for equipment efficiencies, order throughput, and customer fulfillment by ensuring that maintenance work order completion and preventive maintenance schedules are effectively implemented. Ensure all repair orders are executed within the time frame specified to industry standards and meet all NEC, OSHA, etc. standards. Execute all repairs and upgrades using specified manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure all repairs, upgrades, installations, etc. are completed according to stated safety standards with attention to ensuring minimal downtime and no rework.

Refined listening skills. Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple constituents, including management, and vendors. Attention to detail. Ability to be organized and prioritize. Ability to accept constructive criticism from supervisor.   Advanced knowledge of three phase power up to 480 volts.  Intermediate to Advanced level mechanical knowledge.  Advanced Control circuit troubleshooting. Competent in reading hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematics. Basic to intermediate machine shop skills. Milling machine and lathe skills is a plus.

Basic Qualifications: 

High school diploma 5 years’ experience in maintenance or BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering field of study in lieu of experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

Printing and Thermoforming experience. Competency in PLC and VFD troubleshooting and programming.
