Job Description
We are seeking an electro-mechanical technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair various pumps, including Perkins, Mitsubishi, Yanmar, and Kubota diesel-driven pump systems both in-shop and at client sites. This position requires knowledge of prime-assisted suction lift pumps such as Gorman-Rupp, Selwood, and Cornell Pumps. The ability to troubleshoot basic hydraulic and 12v electrical systems is preferred. Journeyman electricians are encouraged to apply.
ResponsibilitiesInspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipmentRepair and/or replace defective parts, components, or systemsTroubleshoot and repair Perkins, Mitsubishi, Yanmar, and Kubota diesel enginesTest parts and systems to ensure proper performancePerform regular maintenance work, such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacementsAdjust, align, and calibrate systems to ensure proper functioningClean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance workTroubleshoot and repair engines and pumpsProvide customer service and explain repair needs and processesEssential SkillsElectrical systems troubleshootingHydraulics systems knowledgeAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsProven experience in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of diesel enginesExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsFamiliarity with safety protocols and proceduresAbility to lift and carry heavy objects (70 lbs)Good communication and interpersonal skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsPossess a valid driver's license and clean driving recordHigh school diploma or GED equivalentFormal mechanic training from a trade school or other accredited institutionAbility to work independently and in a team environmentWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment consists of both shop and field settings, working on pumps that require preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime each week. Employees must be comfortable working in various weather conditions, including heat during summer months and cold during winter.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00
