We are hiring a Temporary Electro-Mechanical Prototype Technician to support a critical engineering prototype development project. Req.#823092656 **\#LI-DNI** **Responsibilities** + Build and test cables and cable harnesses using specialized tools and equipment + Construct and validate functional prototypes and fixtures for engineering projects + Perform troubleshooting, testing, and visual inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies + Assist engineering teams with documentation tasks including redlining assembly documents + Track prototype assemblies through development and testing phases + Support engineering teams by providing technical expertise during prototype build activities **Requirements** + Comfortable with working a short-term contract between 4-6 weeks + Available to start ASAP and work full time through the end of July + Experience with cable and connector assembly using manual crimp tools and soldering techniques + Proficiency in surface mount soldering, including fine pitch and no-lead rework using reflow + Working knowledge of technical software including Visio, SolidWorks, Altium, and Microsoft Office + Demonstrated ability to create clear assembly instructions and perform detailed inspections + Strong problem-solving skills with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies **We offer** + Health benefits: High Deductible Health Plan with an attached HSA (Health Savings Account) which includes Pharmacy coverage, after 60 days from start of employment + Condition Management resources + Family Planning resources + Dental Plan + Vision Plan EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
