You'll have... 

A Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Electrical, Automotive, Control Systems, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Systems, or related engineering degree and 3 years of experience in the job offered, as an Automotive Systems Engineer or related position.  Three years of professional experience with each of the following:   1. Electrical engineering within the automotive systems environment;  2. Using software within the automotive systems environment;  3. Electro Pneumatic engineering within the automotive systems environment; and  4. Conducting Seat Function Engineering activities for vehicle builds.

We are offering a salary of $95,597.00 - $184,100.04/yr.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Electro Pneumatic Seat Module Hardware/Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Domestic travel required as needed, up to 20%. Lead both Hardware and Software Design & Release application work for various programs, including Multi Contour Seat Modules; Support software integration based on Feature Specifications and development of Functional Specifications; Support the packaging and integration on various programs including hoses and bladders; Develop work plans to lead resolution of body modules and validation related issues; Ensure program deliverables are met on time and with the highest quality; Lead Design Validation and Production Validation for components and body feature including air flow for pneumatic systems; Support all vehicle builds and launches (travel is required); Lead resolution of all production plant issues associated with Electro Pneumatic system, software and features; Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electronic, electrical, software, mechanical and pneumatic issues; and Create test beds and test stands for testing electro pneumatic systems.
