Electromagnetic Warfare Strategic Planner
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare EW Strategic Planner to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role is integral to the development of advanced electromagnetic warfare EW concepts, policies, and strategies. The successful candidate will provide critical subject matter expertise in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations EMSO to support the USSTRATCOM Joint EMSO Center and contribute to advancing Department of Defense DoD EW readiness. Travel is required. Key Responsibilities: + Development of EW Concepts and Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create future EW concepts, strategies, and operational plans that align with national defense objectives. + Policy Influence: Assist in the formulation and refinement of electromagnetic spectrum operations EMSO policies, ensuring they align with current and emerging defense needs. + Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert consultation and subject matter expertise on EW topics in support of USSTRATCOM and other DoD stakeholders. Influence and inform discussions in various forums to advance Joint EMSO JEMSO readiness and operations. + Strategic Planning: Participate in and lead strategic planning sessions that shape the future of electromagnetic warfare, ensuring that all plans are aligned with USSTRATCOM objectives and broader defense strategies. + Collaboration with DoD Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders across the DoD, including military and civilian personnel, to drive the integration of EW concepts into joint force operations and strategy. + Advisory Role: Act as a primary advisor on EW issues, including electromagnetic spectrum control, countermeasures, and capabilities development, to senior leadership at USSTRATCOM and other defense organizations. Requirements Clearance: Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electronic Warfare EW, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations EMSO, or related fields within a military or defense-related context. Expertise in EW Concepts: Deep understanding of electromagnetic warfare operations, strategies, and policies. Policy Development: Experience in the development and implementation of EW-related policies, concepts, and strategies. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership and across multiple forums. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and influence decisions at the strategic level. Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with DoD electromagnetic spectrum-related systems and capabilities. Desired Skills: Advanced degree in relevant field e.g., Engineering, National Security, or Strategic Studies. Experience with USSTRATCOM or similar operational centers. Familiarity with JEMSO operations and planning processes.
