**Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
Perform assembly and testing on a wide range of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products. Work from blueprints, established process specifications, and written and verbal instructions with supervision.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot boards down to a component level.
+ Read blueprints and schematics without supervision.
+ Read and follow router processes.
+ Assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies per established process and quality specifications.
+ Perform testing on assigned products as required.
+ Disassemble and rework products returned from customers as needed.
+ Read and understand documentation such as prints, bills of material, and bills of operation.
+ Submit inaccurate paperwork for correction and recommend changes.
+ Meet and/or exceed established production time and quality standards.
+ Use all materials and equipment in accordance with the code of safe practices.
+ Follow written and verbal instructions.
+ Use a computer proficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of recent, strong electro-mechanical assembly experience.
+ Proficient in soldering (wires of all types) and crimping.
+ Experience with subassemblies and following multiple steps in the assembly process.
+ Ability to read and write in English.
+ Solid understanding of working with small parts and assemblies.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ IPC certification is a plus.
+ Familiarity with ITAR regulations.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ No heavy lifting required (10-20 lbs max).

**Work Environment**
Enjoy a great, small work environment with about 40 production employees. This position requires frequent sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping of materials in manufacturing. Occasionally, you may need to kneel, bend, or squat. Finger dexterity and the ability to use a keyboard or ten-key are necessary. Good eyesight for using a magnifying glass and handling small parts is required. The work schedule is a 4/10 shift from 6am-4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
