Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler for our 1st Shift, working from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 9/80 schedule. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working overtime as needed. This role involves performing various types of soldering, including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering, to create reliable, low EMI tactical power systems for the US military.
ResponsibilitiesPerform various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering.Consult production schedule to prepare work area and equipment.Gather components needed to meet production schedules.Set up equipment and solder components together.Complete projects by smoothing rough edges of products.Document production totals and any errors.Clean work area and equipment.Perform other related duties as assigned.Work 5% under a microscope.Essential Skills3-5+ years of soldering experience (SMT, thru-hole, and cable soldering).J-STD-001 or IPC 610 certified (certifications accepted if expired within the past 2-3 years, provided experience in electromechanical assembly/soldering since expiration).Ability to follow instructions.Ability to read equipment manuals.Extensive knowledge of soldering processes and techniques.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly, soldering, SMT, electronic assembly, surface mount technology, blueprints, electronics, thru-hole, and schematics.Why Work Here?

Our company is the premier provider of reliable, low EMI tactical power systems for the US military. We also support commercial and strategic space operations with state-of-the-art radiation hard electronics, electro-optics, and cryocooler system components, including 2 space payloads in partnership with SDIO and NASA/JPL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
