An international agricultural products and services company, we handle agricultural commodities and have a diverse portfolio of products and businesses. **Summary** Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking an **Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic** in **Salisbury, MD** to support our Soybean Processing facility. This position will be responsible to perform assigned electrical and/or mechanical duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown, and equipment failure. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform routine preventative maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical equipment. + Diagnose failures to mechanical and electrical equipment and make repairs. + Rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment. + Fabricate sheet metal and conduit. + Compile and complete paperwork relative to repairs to include but not limited to work orders, time cards, and job cards. + Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies + Respond to calls after hours and on weekends to repair mechanical equipment failures. + Perform other assigned tasks as assigned **Preferred Education** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Advanced electrical training preferred **Experience Requirements** + 1 - 4 years of related experience + General knowledge of computer, operating and network systems + Basics of working around and using High Voltage equipment + Basics of microprocessor-based equipment (loop controllers, VFD, etc.) + Experience with gearbox systems, pump systems, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics + Welding experience, mig and stick **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** Position is active. Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical ladders (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0 – 50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus.
