**HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER'S EEG LAB** , an accredited lab and an essential part of the **LEVEL 4 SURGICAL EPILEPSY CENTER and EPILEPSY MONITORING UNIT** , has an outstanding opportunity for a **ELECTRONEURODIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGIST 2.** **WORK SCHEDULE**
• Full-Time / 40 Hours per week
• Evening/Weekend Shifts
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
• Under general supervision, the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist 2 has an expected level of competence and is able to perform duties and responsibilities for electroencephalography, evoked potential testing, long term monitoring for epilepsy, and intensive care extended EEG Monitoring
• The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist 2 is able to perform infrequent complex testing protocols under general supervision
• Infrequent complex testing protocols include SSEPs for cortical mapping and language mapping in both extra and intra operative settings, infant and pediatric EEGs, setup and review for Dense Array inpatient and outpatient testing
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
• Understand electrical safety relevant to equipment testing and be able to troubleshoot equipment
• Perform electrode application and impedance testing, PREPs, BAEPs, routine inpatient and outpatient EEGs
• Perform complex bedside EEGs for patients in nursing units and intensive care units including infant and pediatric EEGs
• Perform all SSEP modalities for cortical mapping in both intra and extra operative settings
• Set-up equipment, appropriate montages, and connect patients for implanted Electrocorticography
**REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation AND one year of experience in a laboratory performing clinical electroneurodiagnostic tests OR equivalent education/experience.
