Electronic Engineer Requisition ID: 41587 Job Location(s): Pune, IN **Job Description** The Electrical/Electronic Engineer is responsible for Improving, and supporting existing product designs, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring product functionality meets current standards. The role requires expertise in solving complex engineering problems, product validation, and providing technical support to cross-functional teams **Job Responsibilities** 1. Strong experience inProduct Maintenance and Improvement (PMI) activities. 2. Analyse, and optimize PCB’s, circuit architectures and embedded systems along with Microprocessor and Microcontroller circuitry. 3. Conduct validation and verification testing, including EMI/EMC, thermal, and environmental testing as and when needed. 4. Resolve functional, application, and production issues while driving cost optimization and obsolescence management. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution of product improvements. 6. Design modifications for compliance with industry standards such as ISO, ATEX, and CISPR. **Background & Skills** At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. + **Minimum requirements to educational background:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electrical Engineering. + **Minimum requirements to working experience:** + Total relevant work experience: 5 to 7 years as an Electronic/Electrical. + **Required Skills:** + Through understanding on PCB engineering, Component engineering, EMI/EMC testing and circuit simulation + Should have hands on experience on hardware architecture design, feature & performance specifications, 16/32-bit Microcontrollers based designs + Should have hands on experience in Linear, SMPS, signal conditioning and driver circuit design & testing. + Good Knowledge of ATEX, EC, CISPR, ISO, SAE standards. + Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design & EMI/EMC. + Good working experience on analog and digital hardware design, circuit simulations using PSpice & LTspice tools. + Should be able to analyse the analog & digital Circuits for Functional, performing FMEA’s, Stress, Derating, Worst-case & Tolerance analysis + Read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, PCB layout and drawings. **It will be an advantage, if you have knowledge on..** + Extensive experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing. + Hands on experience in writing detailed test plan/procedures, Qualification test procedures. + Experience with PLM tool like Teamcenter and PCB Design tools like Altium Designer and NX. + Utilize basic knowledge of the following equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, PC data acquisition hardware, inspection equipment, signal generators, power supplies, RF equipment and current probes **Important aspects, with impact on the job** + Travel (If required) **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
