Volt is hiring an Electronic Engineering Technician for our client in the Tipton/Muscatine, Iowa area.

\r\n\r\n

Position Details

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tShift: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 3:30 PM), with overtime opportunities\r\n\tDays: Monday - Friday\r\n\tPay Rate: $22-$30 per hour\r\n\tScreenings: No background check, Drug screen required\r\n\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

\r\n\r\n

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tTest circuit board assemblies and controls.\r\n\tTroubleshoot and repair electronic controls.\r\n\tInspect SMT circuit boards.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Job Requirements

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssociate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field.\r\n\t10 or more years of experience testing and troubleshooting circuit board assemblies and controls.\r\n\tExperience inspecting SMT circuit boards.\r\n\tProficient with Windows XP/7 operating system.\r\n\tFamiliarity with automotive electronics is a plus.\r\n\tFamiliarity with IPC standards a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\n
