Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable candidates for some Finishing Technician positions with a company in Erie, PA.  These are 1st shift positions with a pay range of $15-17/hour. 

Finishing Technician

Shift: 1st 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $15-17/hr

Job Summary 
A finishing technician in electronic assembly is responsible for applying protective coatings and potting compounds to electronic components and circuit boards to ensure they are protected from environmental factors like moisture, dust, and vibration. This involves both automated and manual processes, including masking, applying the coating or potting material, curing, and performing quality checks.  Will be required to read a work instruction per customer specification.

Key Responsibilities: Masking: Preparing the circuit boards and components for coating by masking off areas that should not be coated.  Coating Application: Applying conformal coatings or potting compounds using automated equipment or by hand, ensuring proper coverage and thickness.  Potting: Encapsulating electronic assemblies in a "pot" (a case or enclosure) with a liquid compound, then allowing it to solidify.  Curing: Ensuring the coating or potting material is properly cured, either through natural means or by using ovens or other equipment.  Quality Control: Inspecting the coated or potted assemblies for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.
