About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees. Responsibilities Works independently in carrying out complex maintenance and repair assignments through to completion. Determines work sequence, special or nonstandard trade techniques required, and prescribes methods and procedures to be performed by lower graded workers to assure that work assignments are carried out. Removes components, chassis and assemblies from test equipment, tests to determine need for and makes repairs on associated electronic components such as transistors, diodes, integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors.
