Electronic Maintenance Technician

Amentum is seeking an **Electronics Maintenance Technician** in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS). This project will provide PM FPS and PM GS a multitude of product support activities to include spares, warehousing/kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field support representatives (FSRs), systems sustainment and design engineering, and supplier or total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS).
**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Fix technical problems by applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.
+ Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, systems, and related products and services.
+ Discuss layout and assembly procedures and problems with engineering personnel and draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
+ Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion.
+ Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Plan, direct, and record periodic testing.
+ Set up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
+ Analyze and interpret test data.
+ Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components, recording effects on unit performance.
+ Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers in broader determinations affecting systems design and laboratory procedures.
+ Diagnose cause of electronic or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
+ May assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
+ May operate bench lathes, drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts, such as coils, terminal boards, and chassis.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.
+ Must have a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of holding responsibility for setting up, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and devices. This also includes diagnosing malfunctions, performing tests, and following technical manuals to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
+ Must have experience working with Army generators.

+ Must be able to troubleshoot related product malfunctions, modify, wire and fabricate devices related to work, as required.
