Join our Emerson Stavanger Factory in Norway as an Electronic Technician. In this position you will play a key role in assembly and testing of various subsea and downhole products manufactured in the Electronics laboratory.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Bring concerns about safety to the attention of area management and intervene when seeing unsafe activities Works on various activities in the electronics lab such as electronic assembly, soldering, laser welding, functional testing, troubleshooting on subsea and downhole products in the Stavanger factory Thoroughly documents all activities in defined report templates ensuring accurate quality documentation as applicable to a given process Bring concerns about product and process quality to attention of area management. And report any problems, deviations, or proposals for improvements in the Quality system Support in improving production documentation and reports to help improve quality, reduce process waste, and increase efficiencyWHO YOU ARE:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Technical college or similar and certificate of apprenticeship as an electronic technician. Experience in lieu will be considered Professional experience at least 3 years, preferably Basic computer skills High focus and knowledge of Health and Safety Principles Ability to read, interpret, and follow written, visual, and verbal work instructions in EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
Experience with subsea or downhole electronics is preferred Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers Practical field experience in the oil and gas industry can distinguish the right candidateOUR OFFER TO YOU:
