Job Description
As an Electronics Test Technician, you will conduct a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical tests on systems, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts to ensure they operate in accordance with specifications. You will apply your knowledge of electronic principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation. This role involves troubleshooting non-conforming or malfunctioning products down to the component level using schematics and original specifications as guides. You will use hand tools such as multimeters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes to perform electrical inspections and tests.
ResponsibilitiesConduct electronic and electro-mechanical tests on systems, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts.Troubleshoot non-conforming or malfunctioning products down to the component level.Use schematics and original specifications to test products.Utilize hand tools such as multimeters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes for electrical inspections and tests.Collaborate with Engineers from Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and end customers for testing and troubleshooting products.Additional Skills & QualificationsAS Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, or a similar field.Experience troubleshooting electronics with hand tools to the component level.Experience with electrical testing and repair techniques.About Actalent
