Read and comprehends manuals and diagrams. Ability to test and analyze system functionality.Inspects and determines the nature and extent of repair or replacement needed; Cleans fare stand, vault receiver. Repair circuits, jams, and component failures and report unusual conditions or needed repairs. Completes work orders, PM sheets, and requests parts for repair.Maintains repair records; uses mechanical hand tools and special tools and fixtures. Maintains secured work area of electronic fare revenue equipment, manuals, and special tools. Maintains a clean and well-organized work area. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Requirements: Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED. Must be age 21 or older. Must have valid Driver's License and have the ability to obtain a CDL Class B Driver's License.3 to 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical repair with basic knowledge and the ability to diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems.Must have training experience in electronics and repairs, preferably credited from a training institution with courses in basic electricity, electronics, general shop, and vehicle repair preferred. Must possess hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuits. ASE Certification preferred.Ability to troubleshoot, replace and calibrate electronic communication and mechanical revenue handling equipment; ability to understand system schematics and drawings; ability to perform basic math skills. Skills and Knowledge Required:Good written and oral communication skills.Ability to read, interpret and apply documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to read and write routine reports, forms, and other documentation or correspondence. Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to detail.Travel requirement (as a percent):
