**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Electronic Technician II** for the customer site located in Port Hueneme, CA. This position is 100% on-site. **Job Duties:** + Candidate must be able to manage their work tasks and responsibilities autonomously, making decisions and taking initiative without constant direct oversight, while still being accountable to a supervisor who provides guidance remotely. + Must be responsible for performing activities involving the assembling, integration, modification, and repair of Joint Battle Command- Platform Family of Systems (JBC-P FoS) equipment and systems. + Conduct on-site integration and operational checks of JBC-P FoS equipment to ensure of its proper working order. + Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. + Candidate must apply basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents. + This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. + Administrative duties include but not limited to Maintenance Reports, Limited Technical, Inspections, and After Action Reports. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + High school diploma **Desired Education:** + Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications. **Required Hardware and Software Experience:** + Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P) + Mounted Family of Computing Systems (MFoCS) + Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) + Force XXI Battle Command Brigade & Below (FBCB2) + Blue Force Tracker (BFT) + Mounted Mission Command (MMC) Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000.
