Pay Rate: $31.82 - $36.77 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Ronkonkoma, NY, as an Electronic Technician! Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be an essential part of our development engineering team, where you'll perform diverse, hands-on technical tasks. With light supervision, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the design, testing, checkout, fabrication, and modification of electronic and electromechanical systems.

Working with experimental circuits and prototype models to support engineering activities.

Building, testing, and troubleshooting analog, digital, and video circuitry systems based on provided schematics and layouts.

Conducting operational tests, diagnosing malfunctions, and isolating faults down to the component level to ensure systems meet exact specifications.

Utilizing a variety of testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, VOM, DVM, signal generators, and more to perform developmental engineering tasks.

Collaborating with team members and providing recommendations on test equipment design, environmental testing, and prototype building.

Experience and Training Required:

Completion of 2 years of technical training in electronics (e.g., technical trade school, military technical school, or equivalent).

Strong soldering skills and proficiency in using ladders and lifts for project tasks.

Ability to work independently from schematics, diagrams, and layouts and experience with routine developmental engineering testing.

Pay Details: $31.82 to $36.77 per hour
