Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic systems and components down to the component level. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with engineers to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:Perform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on electronic assemblies, circuits, and components down to the component level.Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers to conduct tests.Identify defective components and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.Document test results and maintain accurate records of work performed.Work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve design and functionality issues.Assist in the development of testing protocols and procedures.Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and repair, specifically at the component level.Strong knowledge of electronic principles, components, and circuitry.Proficient in using testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with safety standards and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment.Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE).Knowledge of quality assurance processes in electronics testing.
