Job Description:

Microchip is looking for an Electronic Tester to join their team in Lowell, MA. The Electronic Tester performs a read & record testing on automatic test equipment to ensure the product meets its' quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Will be handling very small devices using tweezers and a microscopeParts will be loaded onto a plate using a microscope and tweezers – steady hand, good eyesightParts will be inspected 100% under a high-power microscope. Non-compliant devices removed based on mil standard documentationParts will be tested 100% per documentation specificationsTesting requires setting up test equipment to the limits on the internal documents. Non-compliant devices removed – dexterityParts packed for shipment following documentation requirementsOther duties as requiredReceives pass down from prior shift operator and then verifies documentation and test programs currently running to ensure accuracy prior to taking over test equipmentDispositions product depending on test results and may include retesting.Maintains documentation on test results in written format and/or via data entry into the SPC system.Provides pass down to the next operator at end of shift.Ability to communicate, read, and comprehends in the English language.
