Program Summary
KBR is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) Electrical Engineer that will provide integration and testing support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-130J Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Office at Wright-Patterson AFB or Robins AFB.
Job Summary
The EW Electrical Engineer will provide support for the development, integration and testing of a new EW system and will perform system engineering functions such as developing and managing systems level requirements, developing operational systems concepts, and performing systems level integration and test for the EW System.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide engineering support in integration and testing of EW systemsDerive requirements for EW systems to meet mission needsValidate and verify vendor products upon delivery of systemsDevelop test plans/test cases/scenarios for EW system testingComplete in-depth technical assessments, analysis, and evaluations for EW systemAnalyze and assess system performance using M&S and/or test dataGenerate official reports that contains the structure of the test events, the rationale on the structure of the test events, detailed analysis, conclusions, and suggested approaches for future developmentPerform Requirement analysis / management for Electronic Warfare systemEvaluate and/or develop complex system architecturesStrong technical writing and communications skillsAbility to work well collaboratively and thrive independentlyBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related field20 years of engineeringAbility to translate complex technical challenges into meaningful strategies and system roadmap and architecturesHands-on laboratory/field experienceFamiliar with DOD acquisition processMust have a DoD SECRET security clearancePreferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Engineering or related areaReviews, develops and documents system level operational concepts and mission statementsKnowledge of EW M&S systems and techniquesDesign knowledge of EW hardware and softwareExperience with standard software pertaining to EW and/or aircraft platforms (i.e. C++ and MATLAB)KBR Benefits
