Essential Responsibilities
Set-up and utilize a variety of test equipment for completion of daily requirementsInspect incoming radios for compliance and acceptabilityTest units at component, sub-assembly, and system level configurationsFollow defined procedures for test of assembliesComplete the testing of both printed circuit boards and radio assembliesAbility to troubleshoot PCBA to component levelDiagnose, troubleshoot, and isolate faults with electronic and electro-optical assembliesDocument investigation of PCBA/Radio assemblies to determine failure and what needs to be to remedy the situation.Able to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and engineering drawingsRecognize and communicate to supervisor any test difficulties and/or product faults in a clear, concise, and timely mannerBe able to work with Engineering to relate process improvements for changes in Work Process instructions or product or product changesAssist with manufacturing assembly and test when required.Perform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
Associates Degree or Trade School in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience acceptableDesired Characteristics
Must have the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams & engineering drawingsKnowledge and experience with Radio Frequency (RF)Ability to be certified to the latest industry electronic component assembly standardsKnowledge of GE processesKnowledge of SAPThe pay for this position is $18-$25/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This role is eligible for overtime.
