Job Title: Electronics Assembly Technician Job Code: 21239 Job Location: Camden, NJ Schedule: 9/80 reg with every other Friday off Job Description: This position a bargaining represented position and is responsible for all aspects of assembly and repair of printed circuit boards, electronic cabinets, cable harnesses, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies. Typical duties may include; hand soldering, mechanical assembly, inspection, cable assembly, electronic rack assembly, electronic system assembly, point-to-point wiring. Essential Functions: + Ability to read, understand, and interpret electronic and mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions. + Able to obtain IPC-610 and/or J Standard 001 certifications + Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical assembly + Ability to tolerate exposure to solder paste, flux, and solder fumes. + Proficient computer skills to include using Microsoft products (i.e., word, email) + Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent + Must be a U.S. Citizen.
