Roles & Responsibilities:-
Analyse and assess customer requirements which have been submitted via a workflow form.Participate in customer and stakeholder calls, to seek clarifications and provide updates on project status.Select suitable components from our archives, or design new solutions, while following necessary design processes.Develop architecture diagrams, hardware specifications, test specifications, conduct tests on prototypes, and capture the results.Ensure designs meet and comply with all relevant quality and regulatory standards requested.Create a Bill of Materials for the solution, liaising with sourcing, other team members, and suppliers.Provide ‘hands on’ support with the assembly and validation of prototypes.Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to implement qualified solutions.Provide occasional support or training for production and customers.Cross-functional collaboration between engineering and other supply chain functions.Essential Requirements:-
Degree (or equivalent) in electrical / electronic / telecommunication engineering OR experience in communications setup for industrial products.Proven experience in the configuration and test of physical layer communications (e.g. RS232, RS485, Ethernet, GSM/GPRS, Fibre Optics, WIFI).Experience with various Protocols and communication methods (e.g. MODBUS, TCP, DNP3, IEC61850, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, P2P, VPNs, MMS, MQTT).RTU configuration experience.Strong communication skills with ability to work independently or as part of a team.Desirable Requirements:-
