We are looking for a talented Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our Applied Materials unit in Israel – PDC (Process Diagnostic & Control) team of AGS (Applied Global Services) ACE (Applied Central Engineering) group in Rehovot science park.

Engineering group, providing engineering solutions (combination of electronics, mechanics, optics and software) mainly for obsolete parts which we have on our tools and engineering CIPs (Continues Improvements Plan) for specific customers projects.We identify the solution, qualify, and test it on our lab tools or at customer sites and release it.What you'll be doing:
Obsolescence Management; Re-engineering activities; Engineering solutions for obsolescence partsQualification of engineering solution to spec. Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports.Reduce cost of parts by providing improvements (increase lifetime, qualify more reliable modules, increase repair capabilities, etc.).Projects will be focused on Electronics but can be also Software related, electrical, optics, mechanics, and motion.Work with 3rd party on technical level; Provide SOW (Scope Of Work); Follow up milestones.Reflect risks / issues / alternatives / milestones / Priorities / etc.Creating documentation on the design of system and integration.What should you have?
BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.Advantage: technical knowledge at least one R&D discipline (Optic, Computing, Motion, Mechanics, SEM). Work well under pressure.Work with many groups in parallel (Internal and External)Hands-on lab tools / lab equipment.Who we are?
