Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities
The Electronics Engineer will oversee hardware verification testing and measurements for XXXX products, excluding Product Qualification tests. This role includes conducting performance testing activities and delivering investigation reports. The engineer will actively participate in verifying the performance of our electronics designs and collaborate closely with all relevant skill teams throughout the product development process.
Main Missions    
Engage with significant challenges and work on important missions that make a difference, with core role tasks including:

Analyze test cases to determine the appropriate setup.Develop or update Test Specifications and Test Scripts, with automation where applicable.Perform measurements as per test case or request.Compile hardware performance test reports, ensuring clarity and conclusive results.Complete test synthesis using ETM tools.Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Deliver hardware verification results, including plans, protocols, and reports, adhering to project schedules and high-quality standards.Participate in periodic equipment verification campaigns.Specify verification test software requirements and coordinate with the appropriate software team.Report discrepancies, anomalies, and bugs promptly in the global bug tracking tool with the EE Delivery Leader.Provide ongoing updates to the manager regarding transparency, progress, achievements, and forecasts.Support colleagues by sharing expertise on established test setups and promoting best practices.Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education 

Master/Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent Electronics/Computer Science.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive industry in similar role

Language 

Strong language proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills & Tools 

Profound understanding and application of test procedures.Extensive experience in testing both digital and mixed-signal boards.Knowledge of embedded hardware and software design for automotive products.Strong proficiency in technical areas relevant to the role.Proficiency with laboratory bench equipment.Skilful in interpreting and comprehending electronics circuit schematics.Ability to collaborate effectively with international distributed teams.Problem-solving approach to challenges.Familiarity with various test methodologies.Effective communication skills with customers.Proficiency in Engineering Test Management Tools.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN) and diagnostic processes.Understanding of metrology as applied to electronics.Knowledge of international certifications for electronics standards (USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RED, CE certifications).
