Electronics & Mechatronics Engineer

What You Will Do:

As an Electronics and Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing embedded systems, mechatronic devices, and software solutions that push the boundaries of our products. You will play a crucial role in bringing our cutting-edge ideas to life, combining your expertise in electronics, mechanics, and software to create solutions that solve real-world challenges.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Electronics Design & Development: Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, including analog and digital circuits, microcontrollers, and sensor/actuator interfacing. Select and evaluate electronic components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Develop and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on performance and functional requirements. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Mechatronics System Design & Implementation:

Design and implement mechatronic systems, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components. Develop control algorithms for motion control, feedback control, and other mechatronic functions. Analyze data from sensors and actuators to optimize system performance and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechatronic systems.

Embedded Software Development (Python & C++):

Develop software applications for embedded systems using both Python and C++. Leverage Python for rapid prototyping, scripting, and data analysis, while using C++ for performance-critical applications and low-level hardware interactions. Write efficient and robust code for real-time applications, considering resource constraints and performance optimization. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.

Testing & Validation:

Develop and execute test plans for electronic circuits, mechatronic systems, and embedded software. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of our products.

Documentation & Communication:

Prepare technical documentation for electronic circuits, mechatronic systems, and software applications. Communicate technical information effectively to colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in electronics and mechatronics design and development. Strong understanding of electronics principles, including circuit design, microcontrollers, and sensor/actuator interfacing. Experience with embedded programming using both Python and C++. Knowledge of control theory, robotics, or automation. Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet. Proficiency in using electronic design automation (EDA) tools and software. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for electronics, mechatronics, and software development. Hybrid position. At least 2 days a week at the office.
