Electronics/Microelectronics Assembler

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electronics/Microelectronics Assembler to perform fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity. Key responsibilities include:
+ Installing connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies using paste and sheet epoxies.
+ Performing disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems utilizing integrated circuit technology.
+ Isolating problem areas after units have been rejected by testing and sent back with test failure sheets.
+ Planning work sequences by assessing available work in progress to meet schedule requirements.
+ Utilizing measurement equipment (e.g., reticle, drop indicator) to check parameters during and after work to ensure unit conformity to specifications.
+ Collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications.
+ Working independently with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Willing and able to work 2nd shift 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
+ Active Security Clearance OR Previously held clearance
+ Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
+ Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools.
+ Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
+ Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
+ Good computer skills to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.
+ High School Diploma required.
Desired Skills:
+ Active Secret Clearance
+ Familiarity with working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
+ Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001.
