Position Overview
This position provides an opportunity to join a team of knowledgeable and skilled electrical / electromechanical restoration technicians and professionals to assist clients across the country, and sometimes globally, in recovering sensitive electronics, components, and electrical systems. The Electronic Restoration Technician will be responsible for performing detailed disassembly, decontamination, and reassembly of our clients’ various electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
Our restoration technicians respond to facilities across a variety of different industries affected by all manner of events such as: fires, floods, hurricanes, tornados, etc. The work is commonly performed at our clients’ facilities, most often in a manufacturing environment. Other areas might include medical, clean room, vessels in port, or semiconductor fabrication facilities. We specialize, and take pride, in developing and executing creative solutions to get our clients’ equipment back up and running. We understand this is a specialized field and are willing to provide training to the right, safety minded candidate, that demonstrates strong teamwork skills, mechanical aptitude and the desire to learn.
The Electronic Technician role is an integral part of the company's operations. A successful project requires collaboration that draws from our diverse teams’ skills, knowledge and experience - while also working alongside our other unique services. This person will work under the direction of the Project Manager to execute each project’s tailored restoration approach while utilizing our specialized and proprietary restoration chemicals, methods and processes.
Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of working in an electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing related industry or field English language fluency and literacy required, Spanish or other language fluency a plus Ability to identify control system components and their functions a plus Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems a plus OSHA 10 or higher a plus Familiarity with SDS and jobsite safety protocols Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Word, and Excel a plus

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
Attend company sponsored trainings, including but not limited to, Technical Service specific SOP and methodology in order to become familiarized with our specialized processes, as well as regularly scheduled safety courses Highly value attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of professionalism, including safeguarding our client’s proprietary processes and confidential information. Work in coordination with our Machinery Repair Technicians and Property Restoration Teams to ensure a cohesive and successful restoration process for our clients Assist and/or follow direction of Lead Technician and Project Manager on all aspects of electrical restoration projects Assess damaged components and develop an appropriate and effective approach for restoration, in coordination with and/or under direction of Project Manager Label, document, disassemble, and reassemble electrical cabinets and systems in an organized and methodical manner under guidelines of internal SOP. Perform various levels of disassembly and reassembly of machinery and equipment control cabinets, operator stations, HMIs, etc. to allow for detailed restoration process. Aptitude necessary, training available as needed. Perform a variety of detailed restoration processes including but not limited to; HEPA vacuuming, chemical washing, ultrasonic baths, or other appropriate methods Follow and implement all quality control and documentation processes in accordance with our standard operating procedure Undertake final inspection on all items of equipment prior to dispatch back to the client
