Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating analyzers and anemometers. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and proficiency with various tools and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesStart the day by pulling repairs for the day, organized by spreadsheet.Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate analyzers and anemometers.Utilize small hand/power tools and soldering to complete assemblies.Follow assembly instructions and refer to pictures.Disassemble incoming units, check components, make repairs, reassemble, and document the process.Prepare service reports for annual service performed on customer-owned analyzers.Identify modes of failure on the analyzers.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitudeAssembly experienceTroubleshootingTest equipmentElectronics knowledgeExperience with PCB, calibration, wiring, multimeter, and oscilloscope2+ years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and production of small electronic equipmentAbility to read and interpret basic assembly work instructionsProficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)Additional Skills & Qualifications6+ months of hand soldering experience (highly preferred but not required)Associate's degree in Electronics or related fieldWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a small electronics shop in Bedford Heights, OH, with 12 people on site. Each technician has a small work room equipped with a couple of benches. The environment feels more like an office than a production facility.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
