We are seeking an **Electronics Technician 4** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit. As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets. Responsibilities Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations. Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems. Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies. Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers. Field Technicians must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. + Utilizes and comprehends project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing M.C. Dean handbook and policies. + Participates in quality reviews of M.C. Dean design documentation and analyzes drawing packages for constructability. + Manages B1 take-offs, daily material management, and logistics planning for personnel and equipment. + Develops and updates 4-week look-ahead forecasts using project schedules and material and labor planning. + Tracks project metrics, including time and materials, ensuring all permits, licenses, and inspections are completed. + Monitors and manages employee BTA points and involves HR in projects when necessary. + Completes project documentation, including Change Orders, RFIs, Detailed Daily Reports, Takeoff Sheets, and Daily Time. + Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, completing detailed as-built, testing, and quality control documentation. + Tracks and inventories tools, performs consistent tool inspections, and organizes material phasing by areas/floors. + Coordinates on-site deliveries and participates in drawing review sessions, understanding prefab processes and partnering with engineers for prefab. · Manages material and prefab orders through Infralink, POL and Dean Warehouse Solutions (DWS). + Conducts daily ORM meetings, ensures team safety, and completes accident/incident reporting and investigations. + Executes PITCO plans, proper commissioning documentation, and quality control inspections, ensuring work meets plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. + Installs system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and performs proper grounding and build-out of IDF, MDF, communication, and security rooms per NEC standards. + Terminates, tests, and configures IP system controllers, intercoms, cameras, and other security equipment. + Leads commissioning efforts, develops Infralink workflows, and partners with engineers to ensure test plans are met. + Represents M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams, communicating consistently with project teams, general contractors, and other trades. + Mentors and develops crew members, encourages strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving. + Plans and prioritizes tasks with strong time management skills, understanding and aligning with M.C. Qualifications **Clearance/Citizen Type:** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; **ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ POLY REQUIRED** **Education:** + HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or + Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or + Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program + An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities **Required Progressive Experience:** + 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs + Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills. + Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. + Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. + Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus. + Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.  + Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy **Preferred Qualifications:** + Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems. + 3 years experience focused in electronic security systems + OSHA 30 certification **What we offer:** + A collaborative team inspired by the way engineering and innovation enhance customer outcomes, improve lives, and change the world for the better.
