Electronics Technician
Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description The Electronics Technician will collaborate closely with engineers to prototype engineering designs within an engineering environment. This role involves daily testing, including weather and pressure testing, as well as engaging in technical simulations. The technician will work in partnership with engineering teams to develop and refine prototype units. Responsibilities + Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. + Develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. + Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems. + Complete rework on assemblies and systems as a result of testing. + Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Essential Skills + Technician experience. + Experience working in a digital environment closely with engineers. + Proficiency in electronics and testing. + Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School or Equivalent. + 2-3 years of experience in a related field. + Technical/Trade School Preferred. + Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite in Newtown, PA within an Engineering Lab. The lab features electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment to simulate space conditions. Lab attire is required, and the role operates on a single shift from 7AM to 3:30PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
