Rite-Solutions, Inc. is seeking skilled and motivated Electronics Technician candidates to support on-site at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), you will provide direct support to Code 34 Imaging and Electronic Warfare (I&EW) Team. Position responsibilities include fabrication, manufacture, testing, installation and maintenance of I&EW Sensors and Antenna Shipsets, repair, assembly, installation and test support for Electronic Warfare Sensors and related special support equipment.\n
Duties and Responsibilities: \n\nMechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of complex I&EW systems\nTesting of sub-assemblies and completed systems; Collect Antenna Assembly technical data at the component, subassembly, and assembly levels\nConduct receipt inspections and determine serviceability of Fleet-returned assets as well as electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure vendor compliance of received parts\nConduct Quality Assurance Inspections on new and repaired assemblies as required by directives\nAnalyze the collected technical data for conformance to specifications, identify issues, and provide recommendations to resolve any issues \nAssembly of Engineering Prototypes including product improvement feedback to engineers, and the completion of drawing redlines, and associated process forms as required\nAssistance in the development of Test Procedures\nDevelop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations or technical information\n\n
Requirements\/Skills:\n\nTechnical School Diploma and two years' experience related to the above tasks, or a minimum of 6 years active-duty submarine combat system experience preferably with experience with US Navy Submarine Combat Systems (BYG-1, EW, SONAR, IMAGING, etc.).\nTasking requires a strong attention to detail and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\nFamiliarity with electronic testing procedures and Standard Test equipment\nAbility to learn and apply techniques quickly as part of a team effort, or independently, to develop innovative technical solutions\n\n\nDocumented completion of soldering and \/ or fiber-optic termination \/ connectorization \/ certification \/ training\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nUS Citizenship and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.\n\n
Additional Skills of Interest: (not required)\n\nActive DoD Security clearance \n\n\nUnderstanding of DoD engineering design practices \nKnowledge of EW systems and technology, specifically AN\/BLQ-10 \nExperience in VISIO or similar engineering-oriented documentation applications\n\n
