**Electronics Technician**

**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled Electronics Technicians to assist mechanical and electrical engineers in the development of battery-powered telecommunication and utility test equipment used in a wide range of industries.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify products.
+ Evaluate performance and reliability of products by setting up test equipment and environments to perform operational, functional, environmental, and life testing.
+ Write technical reports to explain product operation and describe any malfunctions.
+ Partner with engineers and R&D team to develop assembly instructions and testing procedures.
+ Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment and calibrate tools.
+ Assemble prototypes, which may include soldering wires.
+ Read schematics and blueprints.
+ Troubleshoot circuits using laboratory test and measurement equipment.
+ Solder products daily using a soldering iron.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with SMT soldering with super small parts (0402 size).
+ Proficient in using a soldering iron.
+ Experience in both electrical and mechanical assembly of prototypes.
+ Ability to write test reports on results of lab testing.
+ Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficient in using testing and measurement equipment.
+ Experience with troubleshooting circuits using laboratory test and measurement equipment.
+ Experience with oscilloscopes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Candidates with 5 years of experience are preferred, but those with less experience may be considered based on attitude.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
