PCSI is looking for an Electronics Technician II at Ft. Sill! Perform or assist HVAC Technicians in troubleshooting vital comfort, energy, indoor air quality, safety, and scheduling concerns related to HVAC systems and controls, fire and safety devices, providing systems operations data and trend logging reports, and managing BAS access and privileges for technicians based on their job responsibilities. Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment for HVAC operations. This position will report to the HVAC Supervisor and is based at Ft. Sill in Lawton. Typical work hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.

What You'll Do as Electronics Technician II:
Perform or assist HVAC Technicians in troubleshooting vital comfort, energy, indoor air quality, safety, and scheduling concerns related to HVAC systems and controls, fire and safety devices, providing systems operations data and trend logging reports, and managing BAS access and privileges for technicians based on their job responsibilities. Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment for HVAC operations. Monitor building energy management controls through various IT networks. Change and/or adjust set points on various controls on HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, or replace and install controls such as sensors, relays, actuators, electrical components, and wiring associated with HVAC systems. Troubleshoot, repair, or replace and install Variable Frequency Drives and motors. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer manuals or similar documents. Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. What You'll Need to Be Successful:
Must have at least four years related experience. Able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb ladders. Frequently required to kneel, squat, bend, and reach. Required to be able to lift 50 lbs. up to 10 times per day. Must have knowledge of HVAC systems integrated with building controls. Ability to apply knowledge of multiple communications protocols including DMS, BacNet, Lon Works, Siemens, and Tridium to update and maintain the graphical web interface that enables monitoring and diagnosis. Ability to understand AC/DC electrical systems related to controls. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of programming. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. Ability to read and understand control drawings, electronic schematics, electrical diagrams, and construction drawings. In depth knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical systems, and digital or pneumatic controls. Ability to work as a team member. Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening. Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record. If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
