POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a skilled Electronics Warehouse Associate to operate within our retail environment. The ideal candidate for this position will understand computer hardware components, and gaming consoles. The candidate should be able to routinely think outside the box to solve problems quickly and understands impeccable customer service. The candidate must be able to work diligently and accurately and demonstrate great communication skills to peers. This position will be responsible for sorting donated electronics to determine if they should be recycled through our vendors or refurbished. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Sort and assess computers and other electronic equipment as it is received at Goodwill for Dell Recycling 2. Maintain an organized, secure and clean work area at all times 3. Support logistics operation with preparing computer equipment for delivery 4. Other items as determined by the IT Operations Manager 5. Works quickly and efficiently to maintain standards of both quality and quantity in relation to production and profitability. 6. Participate in the filling of store shipment requirements and complete related paperwork. 7. Remove trash from warehouse and transport to disposal containers as necessary. 8. Sweep and pick up all objects off the floors. Keep all workstations and warehouse areas clean and neat. 9. Maintain a professional and courteous image while dealing with the public. 10. Adhere to all safety procedures and wear all safety equipment that is required for the specific task. 11. Continually support the agency safety program and contribute to customer and employee safety. 12. Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED * High School graduate/ GED or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position. * Ability to operate hand trucks pallet jacks and hand truck. * Possess good eyesight and color definition. * Good interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to work a flexible schedule. Available to work nights and weekends as needed.
