If you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account. Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Electrophysiology Program Coordinator for our Cardiac Associates office in Rockville, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As an EP Program Coordinator you will:
• Register patients in the remote follow-up systems that are used to import and manage cardiac information for patients who have implanted devices.
• Monitor the remote follow-up systems regularly throughout the day for alerts and escalating them to the clinician based on the outlined protocol.
• Retrieve reports from the remote follow-up systems, and coordinating with the EP cardiologists to review the reports, providing additional clinical information to the EP cardiologists as needed.
• Ensure that all pertinent information gets entered/uploaded into the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Schedule home device interrogation appointments, assisting the front desk with scheduling in-office device checks and follow up appointments for patients with implanted devices.
• Be the liaison with device reps, and scheduling times for them to come on site for interrogations; Providing updates to the Manager on schedule changes as needed.
• Be the liaison with the Billing Department to ensure home device check billing is submitted for charge entry.

Qualifications include:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Prior Cardiac device management experience preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology and medications
• Ability to meet deadlines and working in fast -paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications
• Ability to efficiently communicate to all internal and external customers

Work Schedule:

Monday- Friday. No weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts.
