Immediate Supervisor:Director of Elementary Special Education Qualifications: + Candidate must hold New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher or Related Service Provider. + Deep understanding of Special Education programming at the Elementary level. + Deep understanding of highly effective Response to Intervention practices. + Have completed a minimum of five years of successful experience as classroom teaching or related service provider. Performance Responsibilities: + Provide instructional support and professional learning for Special Education Teachers + Collaborate with Elementary Director on supports and services for students + Chair CPSE meetings and provide oversight of early intervention and Special Education Preschool programming + Provide support for District level CSE meetings including PWNS and preparing meeting documentation + Oversight of tutoring support + Chair meetings for homeschool services + Attend monthly teacher leader meetings + Provide ongoing, direct support for special class services at the Elementary level + Chair building level reevaluation Salary:Minimum starting salary $46,726 (negotiable based on experience), as per the Victor Teachers' Association agreement.
