Position Overview:We are looking for enthusiastic and patient tutors who love working with elementary students (K–6) in both math and English Language Arts. You’ll work one-on-one with students in Oceanside and Carlsbad, in person, helping them strengthen foundational skills, develop study habits, and feel proud of their progress. What You’ll Do: * Deliver personalized tutoring sessions in math and ELA based on each student’s learning style and academic goals * Support with homework, skill-building, and preparation * Use creative, age-appropriate methods to keep students engaged * Communicate regularly with parents about student progress * Foster a positive learning environment that celebrates effort and achievement * Submit brief session reports that summarize how session went What We’re Looking For: * Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students * Strong knowledge of elementary math and ELA curriculum (Common Core familiarity is a plus) * Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity in lesson delivery * Reliable transportation to travel to student homes in Oceanside/Carlsbad * Ability to commit to consistent weekly sessions Why Join Us: * Flexible scheduling based on your availability * Competitive hourly pay * Ongoing support and resources from a local team who cares about your success
