About The Role

Reporting to the Shared Services Operations Manager – Employee Benefits, this role is responsible for employee benefits enrollment support for the SW region.  This role will support the Account Management team by managing new hire enrollments, terminations and other changes affecting plan enrollment for clients in small group, mid/large group and key accounts market segments.

The role will collaborate and work closely with the Head of Employee Benefits Operations and will influence and promote a positive culture and work environment.

Responsibilities

Deploy standardized workflows for employee benefits eligibility management.Assist account management team with completion of census templates for new plan implementation.Process enrollment changes via the carrier’s websites, or by submitting the applicable enrollment/change/termination forms via email.Submit COBRA qualifying event notifications to client’s Third Party Administrator.Ensure enrollment changes and QEs are processed by the carrier/TPA correctly and communicate confirmation to the client.Review weekly enrollment transaction reports for accuracy.Perform regular billing audits and work with carriers to resolve discrepancies. Interact or communicate directly with clients, at the direction of Account Management.

Requirements

Possess an understanding of employee benefit eligibility rules and rate structures.Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a demonstrated attention to detail.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to use multiple monitors to move quickly between software applications (Excel, Word, Adobe) and various web-based benefit administration systems.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.On camera attendance during virtual meetings and presentations.Attend virtual or in-person conferences to further education/expertise, when needed.

Education/Experience

Minimum 1 year of employee benefits experience.Life/Health Agent License preferred.

Pay Details:

Hourly: $20 - $22
