Your role and responsibilities

As a Cluster Manager you will drive the Electrification Service business growth and profitability across multiple respective countries in the designated geographical area, with overall profit and loss responsibility. By developing and implementing strategic initiatives, driving synergies across the countries, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring operational excellence, you will deliver sustainable value to the company while adapting to diverse market dynamics and customer needs in each country, in close collaboration with ELSE Marketing & Sales Regional Manager responsible for respective markets.The work model for the role is: hybridPreferred location: Central Europe You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading and mentoring a team of Local Division Managers across respective countries, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration. •\tTalent development, assessment of organizational effectiveness and ensuring continuous competencies development of subordinate individuals and teams, as well as building an effective, capable and high-performing organization that is agile in driving changes.•\tDeveloping and executing customer focused business strategy in support and alignment with the regional and global ELSE strategy, identifying growth opportunities, including possible M&A targets within the cluster scope, and leading market penetration strategies in cooperation with marketing & sales. •\tDriving business expansion by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities within respective markets. Adapting strategies to local market conditions, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.•\tManaging P&L of respective cluster, monitoring and managing financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure all business targets are achieved according to plan.•\tBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and other business influencers across respective cluster. Working closely functions at local and region/global level to ensure seamless execution of strategies and projects. Promoting and enabling collaboration in the division, across divisions and business areas to maximize results for ABB.•\tChampioning operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies, and procedures, proactively identify and mitigate risks.•\tEnsuring employees across all teams (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards, and act accordingly. Implementing and ensuring compliance with ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes.This position reports to: ELSE Regional Business Manager

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in business management, preferably in service domain, or another B2B industry, with a proven track record in managing business unit with full P&L responsibility at minimum at country level.Strong understanding of international markets, ability to identify customer needs in service and to match those with ABB service offerings. Understanding of local business cultures and legal/regulatory environments. General knowledge of customer applications and processes in the field of Electrification, excellent skills in Customer relations with mature selling behavior and actively driven discussions and negotiations.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment. Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex problems with out-of-the box attitude.Experience in Operational Excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and maximize customer experience through successful execution of complex projects.M&A experience is valued.Proficiency in English and willingness to travel.
