We are seeking a talented ELT Editor to join our dynamic team, focusing on English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Teaching (ELT) product development. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge educational solutions that cater to both student needs and current pedagogical trends. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive content strategy, lead project management, and ensure product quality. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong experience in ELT publishing or teaching, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a lasting impact on education. Your contribution to the team includes: Lead project planning in partnership with the Line Manager and collaborate closely with regional teams. Conduct comprehensive market research, including teacher interviews, classroom observations, focus groups, and attending industry conferences. Build and manage a network of authors, advisors, reviewers, and freelance editors to support product development. Oversee product creation, from initial concept to publication, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Ensure consistency and quality across materials, addressing issues with authors and editors as needed. Manage communications with authors, freelancers, and vendors, ensuring smooth workflow and project updates. Monitor project costs and escalate any concerns to the Line Manager. Maintain thorough project documentation, including intellectual property records and asset archives for future reference. What you’ll need to be successful: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in content development or editorial roles within the ELT publishing industry. Strong knowledge and experience in the English Language Teaching (ELT) field is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for editing and proofreading. Proven experience managing digital content projects is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment. Previous teaching experience or practical knowledge of English language learning practices. Experience managing freelancers and working with authors across diverse regions. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 47862
