What will you do? We are looking for an intern for the regional commercial team for General Medicines Emerging Markets. The intern will work under supervision of the Commercial Operations Manager, Emerging Markets (EM) GenMed and collaborate with other functions of commercial, medical, insights and corporate communications in GSK to support and organize key external and internal events which drive performance You will be required to: Support the delivery of external HCP virtual events connected to the largest global respiratory congress Quickly learn the General Medicines products in EM and the performance drivers Engage cross-functionally with colleagues to collect insights and drive action Participate in team meetings to receive knowledge about and give input related to business objectives Support the building of business presentations and insight gathering related to performance metrics What will you learn? You will be able to: Lead the project management of one of our key projects Navigate the cross-functional ways of working in a digital world Learn the ins and outs of performance management processes connected to a key portfolio of medicines Polish your interpersonal –, organizing- and project management skills Learn about the business of pharmaceuticals Be part of a multi-cultural team acting in a geographically diverse region What are we looking for? Proficient in use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), ideally prior experience with using PowerBI (preferred but not a must) Strong written and oral communication skills in English (preferred) Curiosity driven and keen to learn new skills and business knowledge A keen interest in the business of pharmaceutical products and how the industry helps patients Demonstrated ability to work in teams for a common objective Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams Ability to think and work independently, and problem-solve Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment Let’s do this!
