Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field of study. MBA is preferred. At least 5 years’ experience working with a US based MNC in different functions in Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management positions. At least 3 years’ experience in External Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, managing supplier and vendors, OEM, ODM or related supplier management experience. Project management experience with hands on experience on how to use project management methodologies to manage multifunctional, multilocation projects. Experience in managing manufacturing/supply chain in high-mix low volume manufacturing.
Required Skills Fluent English speaking/writing is a must. Working experience in ERP system (SAP or other systems). Experience in MS office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) etc. Flexibility to work across multiply time-zone in multiple languages, flexibility to balance the working time between US calendar and Chinese calendar. Ability to travel (up to 40%) to EM sites in East and Central Asia to coordinate manufacturing activities.
Desired Skills Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Good Japanese language speaking and reading skills is a plus.

Good communication and negotiation skill. Good understanding of culture different between different countries. Attention to detail, passion for processes improvement, systems, and data handling. Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
