Email Marketing Specialist

Position summary:

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive email support across our email systems. This person will be responsible for understanding the email systems, managing email calendars and ensuring email delivery doesn’t overlap or overload customers. Additionally, they will support Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) form creation for website landing pages and syncing those across other marketing tools like Salesforce and webinar tools. They will partner with the Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales teams to deliver email campaigns that align with company goals and strategies.

What you will do:

Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to drive engagement and activation across business lines, aligning with buyer and customer lifecycle segments. Manage diverse email programs, including nurture sequences, newsletters, product updates, and sales enablement communications to support business objectives. Oversee Pardot administration, including email workflows, automation, system integrations, database hygiene, segmentation, and third-party integrations via tools like Zapier. Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance metrics to optimize messaging, design, cadence, deliverability, and overall campaign effectiveness. Act as the liaison between marketing, product marketing, sales, sales operations, and Salesforce admins to ensure strategic alignment and execution of email communications. Ensure consistency, compliance, and performance tracking across all Sojern team email communications while maintaining best practices. Provide strategic guidance on email marketing tools and platforms, balancing automation with personalization for various communication needs. Maintain accurate system integrations to ensure email activity is logged in Salesforce (via Pardot) for full communication transparency. Support landing page form integration, lead routing, and automation workflows in collaboration with web and marketing teams. Ensure mobile-friendly, optimized email designs while reviewing messaging for brand consistency and accuracy. Stay informed on email marketing trends, industry benchmarks, and emerging strategies to enhance engagement and drive growth. Manage inbound email marketing requests, the email calendar, Asana workflows, marketing inboxes, and Google Calendar syncs for seamless coordination.

They should have strong interpersonal skills and can manage multiple internal stakeholders.  They must possess impeccable project management skills and have the ability to exercise sound judgment with an ability to move quickly, while being resourceful. The ideal candidate takes a customer-centric approach, and is passionate about understanding the customer lifecycle, doing what’s right for our customers and brand. They are a team player and highly motivated self-starter who can help build Sojern’s customer base and execute our mission.

What you bring to the table:

BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising 3+ years of experience in customer success, communications, or a digital marketing role Consistent track record of successfully managing multiple email marketing campaigns and experience using Pardot Detail-oriented and project management skills with a high standard for quality Excellent and demonstrated written and communication skills Great collaborator, team player, and have the ability to build a working relationship with cross-functional team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve effectively Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets to complete advanced functions, such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables Familiarity with Webflow, webinar tools, Google Workspace and basic HTML knowledge, Stripo, Zapier, Salesforce, Asana
