Email Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an **Email Marketing Expert** to develop and execute high-impact email campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and customer retention in the **B2B energy sector** . This role requires expertise in **email marketing strategy, automation, audience segmentation, and performance optimization** in a **business-to-business (B2B) environment** .
The ideal candidate will have experience managing **A/B and multivariate testing, subscription list management, and campaign analytics tracking** . While **experience with SAP Emarsys is a plus** , candidates with expertise in other **enterprise email marketing platforms** (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Acoustic, Mailchimp, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) are encouraged to apply.
As a critical member of our digital marketing team, you will work closely with **campaign managers, web teams, and content creators** to align email marketing efforts with broader **B2B marketing strategies in the energy sector** .
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Email Campaign Strategy & Execution**
+ Plan, develop, and execute **B2B email marketing campaigns** aligned with **energy sector business objectives** .
+ Utilize **email automation platforms** to build and execute workflows, nurture leads, and drive customer engagement.
+ Conduct **A/B and multivariate testing** to enhance email performance (e.g., subject lines, messaging, CTAs, and send times).
+ Optimize email content and design for **targeted engagement with B2B buyers** and industry stakeholders.
+ Ensure compliance with **data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.)** and industry best practices.
**Audience Segmentation & Subscription Management**
+ Develop and refine **B2B audience segmentation strategies** based on customer behavior, industry verticals, and engagement trends.
+ Manage **subscription lists** for targeted communication, ensuring proper **opt-ins, opt-outs, and regulatory compliance** .
+ Execute **lead nurturing and re-engagement campaigns** to maximize retention and conversion rates.
**Analytics & Performance Optimization**
+ Track and analyze **key B2B email marketing metrics** (open rates, CTR, lead conversions, and engagement trends).
+ Generate detailed **performance reports** with actionable insights for campaign improvements.
+ Utilize **data-driven decision-making** to refine targeting, messaging, and automation strategies.
+ Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to **align email campaign performance with lead generation and revenue goals** .
**Collaboration & Process Optimization**
+ Work closely with **B2B campaign managers, sales teams, and web teams** to ensure alignment across digital marketing channels.
+ Optimize **email marketing automation workflows** for scalability and efficiency.
+ Develop and implement **lead nurturing and customer retention strategies** to support long-term business growth.
**Qualifications:**
+ **3+ years of experience** in email marketing within a **B2B environment** , preferably in the **energy sector** or industrial markets.
+ **Experience with enterprise email platforms** (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Acoustic, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar). **SAP Emarsys experience is a plus.**
+ Strong understanding of **email marketing automation, personalization, and audience engagement strategies** for B2B buyers.
+ Hands-on experience running **A/B and multivariate testing** for campaign optimization.
+ Proficiency in **email analytics, reporting, and KPI tracking** to measure campaign success and drive continuous improvement.
+ Knowledge of **B2B customer journeys, lead nurturing strategies, and sales funnel optimization** .
+ Familiarity with **data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.)** .
+ Strong **project management skills** , with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
