Your Role:
At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected.As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing the capabilities of autonomous vehicles.You will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models governing the planning and behavior aspects of autonomous driving systems. Your day to day will consist of the following:Embedded Systems Development: Contribute to the design and development of embedded systems, with a primary focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.Algorithm Implementation: Implement machine learning algorithms and AI models within embedded systems to enhance automotive software solutions.Performance Optimization: Apply code optimization techniques, ensuring efficient and optimized performance of embedded systems.Hardware Familiarity: Work with various hardware architectures, including FPGA, DSP, and AI processors, ensuring compatibility and optimization.Fixed Point Implementation: Implement fixed-point solutions and quantization techniques to optimize algorithm performance on embedded platforms.Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and machine learning engineers, to facilitate the deployment of AI models into production.Vendor and Stakeholder Interactions: Engage in discussions with vendors, including major cloud providers, to align strategies and leverage cutting-edge technologies.Your Background :
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field#EXP[5-10]Expert with proven background in embedded software development (at least 3 years)Must have strong programming skills in C, C++ including applying compiler and debugging methodsExperience with code optimization approaches, well understanding of memory dependenciesFamiliar with instruction sets and memory architectures, FPGA, DSP and AI processorsGeneral knowledge about perception and machine learning algorithmsWhy join us?
